Sometimes bravery comes from unlikely places and heroes can be born at unexpected times.
In an instant a selfless decision to put the well being of others before one's own safety can safe a life, make a difference, and keep hope alive to fight another day.
What does it look like to celebrate these humans? To match their kindness with our generosity? To make a way to say, please don’t stop being brave, don’t quit demonstrating love, and whatever you do, keep bringing light and goodness into the world.
"I Believe in heroism” is an idea who’s mission is just that. To give back to those who never asked for anything. It’s simply people coming together saying bravery, hope, inspiration, and action matter.
Our first gift will be both the the families of the victims and also to James Shaw Jr. who risked his life to stop the waffle house shooting in our own hometown on April 22, 2018.
